April 27th
Videoland Film Collective: Broke Mountain

Details

Welcome to the Videoland Film Collective: a queer film series at the Historic Masonic Temple, and a celebration of physical media and film itself! Join us at 5:30pm with your VHS tapes, DVDs, Laserdiscs, and other physical media in tow, and swap with other likeminded movie heads! Then join us at 6:30 for our feature presentation.

This month's selection from director Ang Lee is 2005's Brokeback Mountain, a film that had everybody saying "I wish I knew how to quit you!" Jack and Ennis are sheep herders who grow closer than either of them had ever expected, a heart-wrenching affair that spans decades. Dress up in your Western duds and join us! Rated R.
