Come help our homeless neighbors and enjoy a fun night with Paula Poundstone.

Here's a perfect Christmas gift idea for your favorite friend. Surprise them with tickets to experience Paula's hilarious interactions with audience members and help feed and shelter the homeless at the same time. Paula performs all over the USA every weekend and is finally coming to Bay City's State Theatre for the first time.

Proceeds from this food and fund raiser will provide much needed money for Rescue Ministries of Mid-Michigan, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that houses and feeds the homeless populations at one location in Saginaw and one in Bay City.

The two shelters provided over 81,000 shelter nights in 2023. That's an average of 220 adults and children per night that could be sleeping outside. Last year with the help of local volunteers they served hundreds of thousands free breakfasts, lunches and dinners to Bay City's and Saginaw's homeless men, women, teens and children. The goal of their professional counselors is to help the homeless transition back into permanent housing. They are eventually very successful in this endeavor .
