CABARET! A Tribute to the 1970s - Matinee Show

Details

Step Back into the 1970s with This Year’s Cabaret!

The 1970s was a formidable decade of music. Groups ranged in style from classic rock like, Led Zeppelin and Fleetwood Mac, to the antics of Elton John and Freddie Mercury, to the Swedish
phenomenon Abba, to the group that dominated the 70s with six number-one hits - the Bee Gees. Let’s not forget that leisure-suit-inspired genre, disco music, Donna Summer, and mirrored
dancing balls at NYC’s Studio 54.
This year, Saginaw Choral Society invites you to dust off your bell-bottoms and get ready to boogie as we transform our annual Cabaret into a dazzling nightclub filled with our singers, who
have stories to tell. Once again, we turn to our genius creative team of Kevin Cole and Ric Roberts to transform the Bay City Players Theatre stage into a magical throw-back to a previous
generation that will have you singing along!

Feel free to dress in your best 70s attire – think glitter, platform shoes, and vibrant colors! Get ready to groove to the era’s greatest hits. From the soulful and infectious melodies of 70s pop-
rock to the rhythms of disco, this Cabaret promises a nostalgic journey that will have you singing and dancing along to every beat. Join us for a spectacular tribute to the iconic sounds and vibrant
spirit of the 1970s.
