Call to Playwrights!
Creative 360 is seeking submissions of original Plays to be performed as part of our 2024 Art Speaks Festival!

RULES OF THE COMPETITION
1) Pieces must be original work by the writer in one of the following formats:
10 Minute Play: 15 pages or less
One Act Play: 20-35 pages
Full Length Play: 50-90 pages

2) Works must not have been previously published for the public or had a professional performance. “Professional”, for our purposes, refers to performances with paid performers.

3) Entry fee is $15 per submission. Register online at: becreative360.org (see instructions below) or call (989) 837-1885. Processing fees are waived if you call to register.

4) All submissions are blind. Include name, address, email and phone number, along with the title of the work, on a removable cover sheet. No personal information should be on the piece itself to ensure judging impartiality.

5) Registration deadline is Thursday, April 10, 2025 by 4pm EST.

6) Submissions must be emailed to Brigham@becreative360.org NO LATER THAN 4pm on April 10, 2025.

ENTERING IS A TWO STEP PROCESS!! You MUST register AND submit your piece.
If your cast list is larger than 8, please note how you might prefer doubling.

HOW TO REGISTER ONLINE:
Go to: www.becreative360.org and click the blue CLASSES & EVENTS button.
Find: Art Speaks ~ Writers
Click: BOOK and follow instructions.
After the registration is filled out & fee paid, email your digital submission to: Brigham@becreative360.org
You will receive an email confirming the receipt of your work within 2 working days.

JURISTS
Each submission will be read by two jurists. Jurists are TBA.

PERFORMANCES
Staged readings will be performed of the top 3 One Act Plays, the top 12 Ten Minute Plays, and the winning Full Length Play. Performances will take place at Creative 360.

AWARDS
Awards will be given for: Best Ten Minute Play, Best One Act, Best Full Length Play as well as an Award for Best Overall. Awards will be announced at the end of each section.
Performances will take place:
Saturday, May 31st
3pm - One Act Plays
5pm - Winning Full Length Plays
7pm - Ten-Minute Plays
