Maplewood Park is 9.7 acres and bounded by First Street, Third Street, Sheridan Street and vacated Van Buren Street. This east side park is popular with adults and older children who enjoy the Fitness (Exercise) Park. It features multiple fitness obstacles such as "lava leap" and the "wall clinger" to give users a workout through activities such as climbing and agility training. Park is also popular for its basketball courts (new courts coming in 2024). And has a pavilion, with picnic tables provided.
