May 3: SMELLY LITTLE TOWN
A story about Madonna's relationship with her hometown, Bay City, Michigan. Madonna was born in Bay City on August 16, 1958, but her connection to the small Rust Belt town has been a hot button issue ever since her meteoric rise to superstardom. In 1987, she referred to Bay City as a “smelly little town” on national TV, and local media and residents have never forgiven her.
Created in 2021 and directed by Zach Neumeyer.
